Main courses for new year’s eve dinner party

20 minutes tofu lo mein

Most people actually aware of chow mein but when it comes to lo mein then they will think again about this food. Is it similar to chow mein? Raw lo mein is not easily available at any local market. so you may need to visit big stores or supermarkets. This 20 minutes tofu lo mein is really utterly delicious.

Tacos with potatoes & vegetable salsa

Tacos are popular in Mexico. You may get various nonvegetarian versions of tacos in India too. But these vegetarian tacos are special & very delicious too. You can add this to new year’s Eve dinner party for vegetarians.

Chilli paneer  & kulcha

Yum! Yum! Yum! Nothing can beat the combination of chilli paneer dry and kulcha. These two items make any meal special. Though I also enjoy kulcha with chole which is easily available in Delhi. Matar kulcha is also a popular street food in North Indian states. But when it comes to kulcha with chilli paneer then a big smile comes on my face like many other chilli paneer lovers.

Kadhi pakoda & plain rice

Kadhi pakoda & plain rice is an optional item if you have all other main course items. But if you enjoy North Indian cuisine then you should include this in food menu of new year’s dinner party.

Desserts for new year’s eve party

Gulab jamun

It would not say anything about this food because it is an inseparable dessert of any Indian food party. What do you say? Is it not that special?

Patishapta pitha

New year eve means 31st December which means mid of winter. Temperature reaches lower point of the season. Bengali people welcome this season with nalen gur made sweets and patishapta pitha along with many other types of  pitha.
