Price of vegetables is a serious concern to every middle-class people. Most people buy vegetables very carefully so that they can maintain a healthy diet as well as save some money. So when the price of a certain vegetable reaches its high of the season then people always try to avoid such vegetables to buy. Rather they choose those vegetables which are at low price in the season. It becomes hard to take such a decision when their favorite vegetable reaches its high price level.

Potato, onion, tomato & chilli are such vegetables what are needed almost every day in any Indian household. So the prices of these vegetable impact every Indian household. There are some other vegetables what are very popular in different regions. Price hike of such local vegetables may seriously impact on savings of every middle-class family.

But kitchen gardeners like us shield themselves from such impact. I grow various seasonal vegetables what I never need to buy during the season. Not only that I can get fresh & pesticide-free vegetables whenever I need. I mostly grow my vegetables by using organic fertilizers. so those are good for health. So if you are blessed with a small backyard or a terrace then you should definitely grow some vegetables.
