Nowadays people have started enjoying soups before having there meal. Though in India it is neither a common practice, nor huge number of common people have started consuming soup everyday. But still number of such people who enjoy soup very often, is increasing. Tomato soup is one of most popular soup in India but you will be surprised to know this that some people also hate tomato soup.

  1. Mostly tomato soup is dark red colored and it’s color is consistent. It just looks like blood that is why many people ignore normal tomato soup where no other vegetable is added and it’s color represents only color of tomato. This one of reasons behind some people hate tomato soup.
  2. Tomato is used mostly in all kind of curry or gravy, if you see gravy of any non vegetarian dish or little spicy vegetarian dish then you have definitely observe strong presence of red colored perfectly ripe tomatoes. So most people get bored with taste of tomatoes. So they want something else in soup whenever they want to try soup.
  3. Tomato soup is basically acidic in nature, so this is one of the important reasons for what some people hate tomato soup. Actually it may be due to they are more prone to suffer from acidity.
  4. Mostly this soup is smooth and consistent. You just need to drink it, because no other stuffs are added to bite and most people want something in soup so that they can bite and enjoy the taste of the soup at fullest level.
  5. It is very smooth and less thicker, so it does not help to kill hunger to significant extent. No other vegetable is added to this soup of significant level in any normal vegetarian tomato soup bowl, so many people find it as too light soup.
