Poori Sabzi
This is another favorite breakfast and generally, it is preferred by North Indian people but across the country it is popular. Some people love to have it as a complete meal (for lunch or dinner) instead of breakfast. Aloo (potato) sabzi is generally preferred in sabzi with pooris. Poori is also known as loochi in Bengal but that made with maida instead of wheat atta.
Chhole Bhature
I love this item than any other North Indian dishes for breakfast. It is a high-calorie food but too much delicious 🙂 . Bhature’s preparation time is little more as fermentation of flour dough is needed. Chhole sabzi is a dark color (alma or tea liquor is used to get this dark color) and little spicy food.
Idli
It’s a famous South Indian dish for breakfast and very popular across the country. It’s a healthy item too. Idli is widely accepted food for breakfast across the country and enjoy it at any time they like. They love to have this with sambar and coconut chutney.

Misal pav is another interesting dish for breakfast and very popular in Maharashtra. I love this item very much but never understood the logic behind the recipe, I mean it’s so innovative. Sabudana Khichdi
Another shocking item to me but after enjoying this dish multiple times, now I am loving this. I tried this at home too. I never thought such kind of dish with sabudana. This item is also popular in Maharashtra.

But this is also a tasty and healthy dish. Many people prefer to enjoy this meal for breakfast. Thepla has few varieties (methi, lauki etc) and all of those are delicious and famous for its own taste.
Dhokla
Another popular Indian food which is originated from Gujarat, a state from West India. People love to have dhokla not only for breakfast but also for main course item. Khaman dhokla ( a popular type of dhokla) is very soft and spongy. It is also considered as a healthy snack by Indian people.
