As I said that I do not like moringa (also known as drumstick) leaves because I feel it is slightly bitter in taste. But somehow I find moringa leaves fritters are enjoyable with tea or coffee. But how often will you eat only those fritters? Once a week? Okay! Twice a week? But you can not eat it regularly? So the best way to have moringa leaves is making drinks out of it. I have tried drumstick (moringa) leaves smoothies. But you need fruits & some other ingredients in your kitchen inventory. But this time, I have tried a simple drink with those drumstick leaves. IT’S MORINGA LEMONADE! A very delicious & refreshing drink.
I can not even complain about its bitter taste because I added sugar syrup to this drink. So it is NO MORE BITTER, hey hey!
It is is perfect drink for summer when you feel thirsty and you want something quick & simple solution to quench.
Well, of course here sugar syrup is added, so health-conscious people may refrain from making this drink. But in such case you can control the sweetness in this moringa lemonade and make it according to your daily sugar intake requirement.
But if anyhow you want to abstain yourself from raw sugar consumption then you should try its green smoothies where you can add ripe fruits as per your choice and try that natural sweetness.

Though I prefer to add fresh drumstick (moringa) leaves to make this moringa lemonade (drumstick leaves lemonade). We have a 20 years old drumstick plant in our front yard. So I do not need to buy such powder from a store. Though I think such powder is even not easily available in any local store in West Bengal. I can only buy it from an online store. But I do not bother about its market availability because I have plenty of homegrown drumstick leaves, haha.
