November 23, 2017 By admin Leave a Comment

Who does not like momos? Well, many of you also never tried this but I think once anybody ate this then definitely he will want to try this again and again. It is such an awesome street food which is very popular in Nepal, India, Bhutan & China. Though in India, mostly cabbage is used in momos, particularly in vegetable momos but if you want to try momos without cabbage then you have prepared this at home or you have to find a street food corner in your area where momos without cabbage are available but I think making momos at home is much easier than finding such street food stall in your area, haha.

Though in India most people prefer cabbage (patta gobi) in momo but there are still many people who like momos but do not like cabbage. I think you too belong to that category and that is why you have landed on this page and still reading this post.

Momos without cabbage?

Normally cabbage is not added to egg momo, paneer momo or chicken momo but still, a significant number of food vendors usually use cabbage in those momos (dumplings) too. But if you want to have vegetable momo then you can not avoid cabbage because in such case every food vendor adds cabbage in veg mo mo (or dumplings) food. So cabbage haters you can not avoid this if you want to have veg dumplings.

But if you can make this at home then you are the winner because then you are no more dependent, so whenever you will want soft & delicious momos without cabbage, you can simply make at home. You can add any seasonable fresh vegetables of your choice and do a lot of experiments to make it tastier & healthier. I have also made different types of mo mo at home and did a lot of experiments to make something that is perfect according to my taste.
