Is microwave cooking unhealthy?

Are you eating food what are cooked in microwave oven? Then you must stop browsing and invest 3 min of your life to read this. If you are habitual to cook our food in microwave or use it to make food warm before having that food but never think whether microwave cooking is healthy or harmful. As per many experts, microwave cooking results significant loss of overall nutrition value of vegetables & meat and microwave radiation (high frequency waves) itself has a harmful effect on our health. So when you use microwave to cook food that may effect our health.
I have read many articles about risks associated with microwave cooking. Many people whom I personally know also do believe it or living in dilemma to accept issues related microwave cooking or ignore. The threats in microwave oven as per different sources what I can understand are

  1. Significant loss in food value due to high frequency waves
  2. Microwave radiation may have adverse effect on human body

I can accept that microwave cooking may reduce nutrition value of vegetable and meat. But I think that this is true for any other cooking methods whether you are frying and boiling. All those methods also reduce nutrition value of raw vegetable and meat. But we can can not digest such raw vegetable or meat too. So we can not avoid such losses by adopting other cooking methods.

Though I am not an expert on this matter but I can not overlook such things if it really effects our health. You may have heard about such thing, then how you are dealing with this.

  • Are you avoiding microwave cooking method?
  • Ignoring such researches or discussions?
  • Continue your normal life style till any proper direction from authority?
