Ginger is one of the most common ingredients for cooking Indian dishes. If you are making a nonvegetarian food then normally it is an unavoidable spice. It not only brings the taste but also contains various nutrients too. Ginger juice is also used to make some fruit juice or healthy drinks too. Most people have already tried a few of those popular drinks too. But did you ever try lemon ginger water?
I have heard about lemon ginger water but never tried. So this time I was determined and I prepared it for me.
If you never tried infused water and thinking that it is something needs complicated process then you are wrong. Like any other infused water this lemon ginger water is also very easy to make and anybody can prepare this within a jiffy and almost effortlessly. You actually do not need to follow any particular lemon ginger recipe. You can do this your own way. But still, I am sharing my way to make lemon & ginger water.
Ginger is traditionally used cure cough & cold. It is also said that it helps in digestion and pain reduction. There are also some more health issues where ginger is used to get relief. But apart from all those benefits, I do not prefer anything which is tasteless. So lemon ginger water must be delicious, otherwise, I would not say this as a drink because if it is not delicious then it cannot draw foodies (or drink lovers) attention. For only medicine purpose, we all have other options, haha.
I picked ginger from our kitchen inventory, wash and cut one inch of ginger into slices. For your purpose, you can peel its skin and then cut into pieces but I do not bother about its skin.
Like other infused water, I found this lemon ginger water an excellent refreshing drink and undoubtedly super delicious too.
