This plant gonna produce tons of vegetables in the winter. Its growth is super fast and took control a large area. Can’t wait to see its production. though it has become a matured plant in the month of July. But it is a winter vegetable. So no fruit is there. I can expect flowering during Autumn. Last year, I noticed flowering during early September. But I don’t know the variety of this vine. Whatever it is, I know if I take proper care then this one vine can produce tons of vegetables throughout the winter. We all get tired of picking vegetables. So can you identify a vegetable plant?
Well, I think if you do gardening then you can easily identify this plant without reading further.
But most of us do not know this because we just visit a market and buy whatever vegetables we need. We do not bother about all the activities that happened behind it. We normally do not visit a farm. Many people do gardening only for the beautification of their house. So people mostly grow colourful & beautiful flowering plants or decorative plants.
So I am giving some hints to help you to identify this plant
- You have already known that it is a winter vegetable plant and a vine. People sow this in the summer or early rainy season.
- It is a whole bean vegetable. Its seeds are generally considered as lentils. So it is a vegetable plant, not a lentil plant.
- It is used to make various curry, stir fry etc. In West Bengal, it is often prepared with mustard paste curry.
