Hello sattu flour lovers!! How are you? Oh, are you here to know how to eat sattu? I think that it is not true. You definitely know about this popular flour and you can also make some wonderful dishes with that flour. Is it not true? Then you are here to no a few more sattu flour recipes what you want to try it next weekend. Am I correct?

Before I have started writing on sattu flour recipes. I actually wanted to know what people think about sattu. So I searched on Google with these two words “sattu for“ and the search result is attached below.

It was magical. I mean how just one flour can be that much beneficial. It is a miracle food. People search sattu for diabetes, toddlers, babies etc. Not only that people want to know how it is effective for weight loss, stomach health and skin too. OMG!!!

WAIT! WAIT! WAIT!

Till it does not end. People search “Sattu for acidity” too. That means it may be beneficial for curing acidity problem too? Wonderful!!

People wanted to know how it can be beneficial for people who do gym regularly. Great!!

But what is “Sattu for PCOS”? I mean what does it mean PCOS? Let’s check on Google. Ohh, it is Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a female health problem. That means people also wanted to know how it can help with PCOS. Damn! Can it do anything?

I do not know how it can help people with such problems. But still, I know that sattu is a good source of plant protein and it also contains complex carbs. So it is food to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

How to eat sattu? Sattu recipes

So how to eat sattu? Or what are the best sattu flour recipes?

The simplest way to eat sattu is to make a dough with fresh sattu flour, salt and water. Make a soft dough by kneading that dough and add water as much as it needs. Then have it with raw onion and green chillies. This is an easy way to eat sattu flour. But you can make various other items and make it more enjoyable.

Sattu paratha: This sattu made paratha is not only very delicious but also very healthy food too. I love to have this in my lunch as well as dinner too. I normally do not need any dishes along with sattu paratha. One bowl of raita or plain curd if enough to have this sattu pratha meal. If you have one piece of raw onion, mango pickle and a fresh green chlii then nothing can beat this meal. Its yummy. You can make this paratha very easily.

Bihari style litti: Litti is like pride of Bihar. This food is very popular in Bihar, Jharkhand & Eastern part of UP. Nothing can be comparable with litti chokha meal for the people living in that region. Ckokha can be made with aloo, brinjal or tomato. With those chokha litti cannot be that much delicious. Litti chokha mostly prepared outside the home by male members of the family.

Salty sattu drink: This salty sattu drink is a popular breakfast drink in Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. There are many street food vendors sell this sattu drink in the morning in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar & Jharkhand. I have also seen many sattu sharbat stalls in Kolkata, particularly during summer it is easily noticeable.

Sweet sattu sharbat: This is a sweet version of sattu drink. It is very much refreshing & delicious. I love this drink during the summer season. When it is prepared with mint flavored then it becomes more tasty and enjoyable.

Sattu laddu: So how many times have you tried this awesome dessert. It is very special. You won’t take to make this laddu at home. I love this laddu on any occasion.
