Though here in India many people consider cucumber as a vegetable as well as fruit too. People use it to make a vegetable dish like shukto (a traditional Bengali dish) at the same time, most people consider this as a fruit too. I love to have raw cucumber during summer days. It helps me o keep my body hydrated. It is also said that cucumber contains many minerals.
A few days back I have also tried cucumber drink. I blended that in a Philips blender and then strain it into a bowl. That time I noticed that cucumber is really juice fruit because when I strain it, I got the only little residual. Watermelon also another juicy fruit. If you want to make watermelon juice then I will realize it. Those two fruit contains a high percentage of water in it. Okay, can you say which one has more amount of water than other? GOOGLE it, you will definitely be surprised by your finding, haha.

I love this cucumber raita and often prepare this for having my meal. I have also tried cucumber raita at roadside dhaba. I found those raita & meal more delicious because of the ambience. What do you think? I am also looking for creating such ambience on the rooftop. So char pai (khaat) and scrap-tire are needed to arrange, though scrap tire can easily be arranged but char pai is not easily available here in West Bengal. I hope I will find one soon before I drop such a plan.
