Cabbage pancakes, delicious breakfast food

Ingredients
For pancakes mixture
  • 2 cups finely chopped cabbage
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 2.5 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt as needed
  • Water, if needed
  • Refined oil for deep frying
For topping
  • 1 tbsp veg mayonnaise
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients for pancake batter, add water if needed to adjust consistency
  2. Heat enough oil in a cooking pan for deep frying
  3. Take a full spoon or pancake mixture and press it with your palm and put it in oil, initially fry it in low flame on both sides then cook both sides with high flame for 20 seconds each
  4. Keep fried cabbage pancake on a plate, spread mayonnaise over pancake & serve hot
Notes
You can add finely chopped onion but I did not like this with onion
You can even use steamed cabbage (steam finely chopped cabbage for 10-12 minutes) but in such case, you do not need to cook it under low fire when frying
