Most people love to eat delicious breakfast every day. They do not want a repetition of the same food every day for breakfast. So there are such breakfast items that are easy to make and people love those foods. Most people have to make atleast two or three food items from this below-mentioned list so regularly. Though there are some breakfast foods that you may think difficult to make because you do not have the practice to make it at home. But I think every Indian have those at home so regularly. If not all then atleast two or three are very common breakfast foods at your home.

1. Poori & Sabji
Everybody loves this food for breakfast across the country. In West Bengal, such poori is also known as luchi (made with all purpose flour instead of whole wheat flour). Different types of sabji/curries are served along with poori/luchi. But potato curry (aloo sabji) is the most popular. It is mostly prepared on weekends.
2. Egg & bread
It is the most simple breakfast food and very tasty too. If you have bread in your kitchen inventory then within a jiffy you can make this delicious breakfast. From kids to adults everybody loves this food for breakfast. It is a popular breakfast food across the country.
3. Milk & corn flakes
It is simple & healthy breakfast food. You just need to boil milk and add corn flakes. Some people also add dry fruits, honey, strawberries etc to the milk. Many people also have these milk & corn flakes almost regularly because they do not have time to cook in the morning. So this is a kind of survival food for busy people.
4. Pancakes
Though it is not so popular in India. But who knows this food often make it at home for breakfast because it is easy to make as well as healthy too. There are different types of pancakes are available across the world. You can try banana chocolate chip pancakes, roasted pineapple pancakes, mashed potato pancakes & many more.
5. Paratha & pickle
I love aloo ka paratha with pickle/raita. Do you? Though there are so many different types of parathas like aloo paratha, gobi paratha, patta gobi paratha, mooli paratha, paneer paratha, methi paratha, masala paratha, plain paratha etc. But aloo paratha is the most common & popular one. Everybody loves this.
6. Poha
Poha is a very popular snack/breakfast food in Maharashtra & its neighbouring states. I love Malvani poha which is very different & super delicious. I tried that in Malvani. That was served with a lot of freshly grated coconut & juicy pomegranates seeds. Nowadays poha has become a very popular food across the country. Many people now prepare it at home. It is tasty and very easy to make.
7. Upma
If you want to have something healthy & simple then you should try upma. It is prepared with semolina/rava/suji. It is also another simple & tasty breakfast food. It is prefered to have upma with coconut chatni. did you ever try it? But when I have it during summer days then I love to have this with green mango chutney. It is really super delicious.
8. Idli / Dosa
Is this really an easy thing to make for breakfast? Really? But it is actually a simple food. You can even make it very easily at home. In some cities, dosa / idli batter is also available at the local market. When I was in Nashik then I used to buy such batter from a local stall. I packet of batter available for Rs 30 and Rs 10 extra if you want to buy coconut chutney.
9. Gujarati khaman dhokla
I love khaman dhokla. It is one of those easy things to make for breakfast. Many people make it effortlessly almost everyday for breakfast. What it needs a sweet chutney or a sweet item to be served along with this dhokla. Atleast it it is the fact for me. I need a sweet item like jalebi or petha.
10. Smoothies
If you have milk/curd and fruits then no need to worry. You just need to pour everything into a mixer and blend to make delicious smoothies for breakfast. I prefer mango, banana, strawberry, chikoo, orange, muskmelon, watermelon etc. You can even make some smoothies without adding milk or curd.
