Do you really want to enjoy restaurant-style mango lassi at home? If it is then you have landed on right page. Mango lassi is one of the most delicious and refreshing drink during summer. SPEAKING honestly this is a surviving drink to beat the heat. Probably you do agree with me or did not get me correctly. It is just a drink, being little particular it is just mango flavored lassi, nothing else. IS IT?
Mango is most flavored, sweet and juicy fruit during summer. Many people even like unripe green mango just because of its flavor and mouthwatering smell, but it is sour in taste. Ripe mango with red and yellow complexion is very sweet in taste and people use this fruit in various desserts and drinks to add flavor and sweetness. Probably summer would be much more terrific if we won’t have this fruit as God’s gift.
Reasons behind people love this mango lassi so much
Lassi is one of my favorite drink, particularly during summer, certainly it is because it is so refreshing and help me to beat summer heat. But there should be something special in summer, and yes here comes mangoes and blend with your lassi to add more taste and flavor in your lassi. It is said that curd or yogurt help human body to control temperature and give our body instant refreshment to start work. Now once it blended with mangoes, it actually becomes MAGICAL.
That is why most people love this magical drink. Mango lassi not only helps you to beat the temperature but also it gives you energy to work. Unlike any other summer drink it is little heavy and once you drink two glasses of mango lassi then you can not have your meal also. So this is my one of the favorite summer drink and I often enjoy this drink too.

Mango lassi mania ….
I first time tried mango lassi in Delhi, actually I used to drink mango shake which basically made of milk, mango, dry fruits and ice cream toppings. But oneday I thought to change taste and I ordered mango lassi. I found it was very delicious but they still added some unknown spices and ice cream toppings. I ate ice cream with spoon then I drank mango lassi. My first experience was good but the day when I tasted second time from a temporary shop along side GT Karnal road, you won’t believe me it was horrible because the shopkeeper added rotten mangoes. After that I never tried lassi from any such shop, particularly mango lassi.
But few days after that day, I tried myself to make mango lassi, I do added any spice or did not apply super creative ideas to make mango lassi, I just kept it simple and tasty but give little twist to make it little different and extra mouth watering flavor.
Try to make this mango lassi drink at home
This mango lassi is very simple and anybody can make this at home. You do not need so much ingredients to make this, rather you can do it with same ingredients as lassi but you can do little experiment with dry fruits. Lassi primarily made of curd or yogurt, sugar and little spices. One thing I want make clear that I am talking about sweet lassi, because there are different kind of lassi is available across the country. I have even tasted sour lassi, some people even add too much spices in lassi, I do not know if there is any specific name for such spicy lassi.
Here mangoes, curd, honey, sugar and cashew nut blended step by step to make smooth and consistent mango lassi. Added cashew nuts brings special taste in this summer drink.
