It is mid of June but still, temperature is around 40-degree centigrade. There is some interim relief when rain falls but again after few hours, it reaches a peak. So a solution is needed to beat this adverse weather. Switch on the air conditioner or air cooler can be a solution but then you need to stay at home. Then cucumber mint water (juice) helped me to feel refreshing & energetic.
When it is about summer drink then you may have multiple options (jaljeera masala drink, refreshing water melon mocktail, shikanji masala drink, water melon mojito smoothie, masala chaas etc). But most summer drinks are sweet in taste. That means you are actually consuming enough sugar each time you are having such drink. Is it not true? But in case you are having salty summer drink then you may drink enough salt too. That is not good if you have blood pressure problem. So either you need to limit such drink upto one or two glasses per day or you will have compromise with your health in such case.
But there is a smart option like cucumber mint water where you can have plenty of summer drinks but you need to consume extra sugar or salt throughout the day. SURPRISING? But yes it is possible.
Forget about sugar or salt, you are actually nothing but flavored water which you help you to feel refresh and you can drink as much as you want. Yes, cucumber mint water is such a magical drink. I just pour mint leaves and cucumber slices in a glass and keep it in a refrigerator (or at normal temperature if you are using flask) for one or two hours. I have also tried this by using a thermosteel flask. I refilled it after each time I drank cucumber mint water. Nice aroma was coming out from that flavored water. I had to mash mint leaves and cucumber slices before refilling my glass/flask.
When you will reach home then you can blend cucumber slices & mint leaves and strain into the glass to enjoy your final (cucumber mint juice) drink for the day.
