It’s December. So all vegetable markets are full of fresh vegetables. Vegetable vendors are almost hiding behind the heap of vegetables, haha. Many paratha lovers prefer gobi paratha & mooli paratha over aloo paratha during the winter season. Is this not true? Even there are some people who love mooli paratha more than anything else. They often have mooli paratha for breakfast. But did you ever try mooli paratha with the special green chatni prepared with radish greens? It makes your paratha more enjoyable. It is very simple, and you do not need to cook it. You just need to grind all of its ingredients and your chatni will be ready.
It is not that popular green chatni which is prepared with mint & coriander. It is different in taste because radish greens are added to this.
Yes, if you are living in Delhi or its neighboring states then you might have tried this because this mooli patte ki chatni is often served with ram laddu. Do you know ram laddu? If you are living in that region then ofcourse you know that.
This winter I am growing plenty of radishes in my rooftop garden and I have almost harvested my first batch of radish, and now I am preparing for transplanting seedlings for the second batch. First batch radishes are half red & half white-coloured and now the second batch is white long radish.
So I have a continuous source of fresh radish leaves. That is why I can harvest anytime and make this green chatni.
I usually had this radish green chatni when I was in Delhi. It was served with ram laddu. But this time, I tried it with radish paratha. surprisingly, it was not only delicious but also it increases the taste of mooli paratha too. I enjoyed my mooli ka paratha with this chatni.
