Usage of wood apple (bel pathar fruit in English)

Do you like wood apple? Many people do not like it. You can not eat it fresh like any other fruit (mango, guava, chickoo etc). I use ripe wood apple to make delicious drinks.

Bel sharbat is my favorite during summer season. Such drink also known as bael pana in West Bengal and bela pana in Odisha. Though nowadays people forget such traditional drink because they love carbonated soft drink more. But this bael sharbat is healthier as well as refreshing. But nowadays people think it is much difficult to make such sharbat at home. So they prefer to buy soft drink from the shop.
