You won’t not need water as your mouth will be always filled with water. Yes, it is that much delicious. Haha! Most importantly, it is very easy to make too. I had this food several times for my breakfast as well as evening snack. But last Saturday I had it for my breakfast. It was really a wonderful weekend breakfast. I was very confused about what should I need to make my weekend special. Finally, I decided to have this veg puff. Do you know puff? Is this really puff? Well, I call it deep fried veg puff? What is your opinion?
Most people will say that this is not typical puff because puff is a bakery item. It should not be deep fried. Oven should be used to bake puffs. But it is okay, this is my puff. I use to have this for years. My mother often used to make when I was in school. That item I used to call it stuffed luchi or poori. Still, I love this. Then I found similarity with puff. So I started call it deep fried veg puff. I have added a few additional spices. I make my own version of deep fried veg puff and my mom still make her own version of stuffed luchi which is less spicy. I enjoy both.
My mother only uses ajwain & ginger in spices (excluding turmeric & chillies). I added some additional spices and those are aamchur powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and kasuri methi.
It was my version. Vegetables were all seasonal. I added beetroot. Those were homegrown. Though, I harvested a few beetroots last month. But I discovered those in the refrigerator a few days back. Haha. So I decided to use in this awesome deep fried vegetable puffs.
So are you ready to grab this food on the coming weekend for your breakfast?
